My team was tasked with the rapid design of a solution involving two ruggedized cases for the military. A set of specifications and requirements were delivered and we developed a solution in a very brisk three days. My portion of the project was to create the 3D models of the product. This assembly consisted of 100+ components, most of which were brand new designs. The result was a case that was clean, well designed, and easily manufacturable. Most importantly, it was a profitable project for the company while meeting or exceeding the customer's specifications. The project consisted of a protective case solution for primary and secondary objects. Both pieces were very sensitive to shock, requiring vibration reduction measures integration. Additionally, the cases needed to be able to travel in a very broad range of climates. These cases needed to withstand almost the full range of what this planet could throw at it!
