About Me

There are a lot of people who have dreams. They dream about all the things they would do if it weren't for ______. I am not one of those people.

I have dreams, but my dreams are only visions of what my future will be. I strongly believe that the desire to do something should be followed immediately by plans to make it happen. This is evident in my career and in my personal life. I have learned that solving a problem is all about asking the right questions. I pride myself on outside-the-box thinking. I believe it is very rare to reach a dead end road while moving toward a destination. There are simply indications that you need to go another way to meet your goal.

My dedication as a husband and father drives me in my professional goals. It pushes me to be the best engineer I can possibly be. My children inspire me to have honesty and integrity in all I do. It is because of them and for them that I can overcome any obstacle.

My professional life started in my uncle's sheet metal shop. I will always be grateful for that experience. It was there that I learned the basics of sheet metal forming and fabrication. I also experienced the thrill of having an idea in one moment and in the next having the embodiment of that idea in my hand. I quickly fell in love with engineering and manufacturing. I pursued my education wherever I could find it. I took advantage of every opportunity I could to learn more about my chosen field and gain valuable experience in a broad variety of applications. Now, as a graduate from Weber State University and a broad variety of professional experience in manufacturing, engineering, process improvement, and talent development I am actively engaged in pursuing operational excellence at All Metals Fabrication.  I am particularly passionate about the role of talent development as an integral part of quality and process improvement.  Some of my greatest professional satisfaction comes when I am teaching others the tools they need to be successful and then watching their careers take flight.
